What is Micro Needling?
Micro-Needling (also known as collagen induction therapy) is a minimally invasive treatment to rejuvenate the skin. A device with fine needles creates tiny punctures in the top layer of the skin, which triggers the body to create new collagen and elastin. Numbing cream may be applied 20-30 minutes prior to treatment, if needed.

After Effects
Most people Shannon performs micro-needling treatments for experience redness and mild swelling in a similar way to a mild sunburn. During and just after treatment there may be pin point bleeding, but this is cleaned before leaving the office. Within a week or two you will notice that your skin is smoother and more radiant looking with the full effects taking place in the next few months.
How many Treatments Will I Need?
Some patients only require a single treatment, once per year to achieve optimal results. However, it is recommended for most patients to receive a series of 3-4 treatments spaced about 6-8 weeks apart. Your facial will begin with a numbing treatment, cleansing, and micro needling session. You’re facial will be completed with a chemical peel. Finally your skin will be given a special combination of products proven to calm and nourish your skin. With micro needling a facial massage is not performed as it could aggravate the active cellular growth in the face and skin, leaving you red and irritated. Care instructions are basic and will be discussed with you individually. Additional products may be purchased to ensure that you receive maximum results.

There is a chemical peel for your skin. Because the products themselves are aimed to slough and remove dead skin cells from the surface, and treating your condition all in a mask.
