What is a Facial?
When people come to Shannon’s Serendipity Skin Care for a facial they are essentially requesting a multi-step skin treatment using a combination of custom tailored products and services, uniquely designed with their conditions and ideal goals in mind. Each service includes cleansing, nourishing, and exfoliating services, and most include a facial massage. Often, the service selected is primarily chosen because of the desired results, as this will dictate the products and treatments provided for our client.
For this reason, prior to any treatment, Shannon may ask you a few questions regarding your goals, as well as current regimes. Not all services can be performed at the same time, and taking just a few minutes to understand your needs, goals, and current regimen will allow for you to achieve maximum results from every facial treatment you receive.

Corrective Facial Treatment (85 min)

Intended to target and correct visible signs of aging and wear. Shannon takes the time to address your concerns and problem areas, and will select a product based on a number of factors. Often a corrective facial treatment is ideal to target pigment spots, anti-aging, wrinkle reduction, excessive dryness, or acne.
Includes cleansing, exfoliation, steam, extraction and targeting identified problem areas. A facial massage and hand massage automatically is included whenever possible.
Treatment Masks & Mask Facials (60 min)

Intended to treat a variety of skin conditions and help you achieve your skin goals. A mask may include manual exfoliation and chemical masks to fully remove dead skin and reveal hydrated, younger looking skin. This is the preferred treatment for many clients wishing to achieve depigmentation, or a lightening of the skin.
Includes cleansing, exfoliation, steam, extraction and targets exfoliation to achieve brighter, lighter skin. A facial massage and hand massage is included whenever possible, depending on the products custom selected for your chemical peel treatment.
“A New You” Spa Facial (60-90 min)

A common request is to help fight the signs of aging through a combination of services, and for that I tell people that they should invest in A New You. This is literally a head-to-toe treatment and pampering package that will reveal a younger, more vibrant you.
Head-to-toe treatment takes a full 90 minutes and includes everything. Professional cleansing, extraction, steam, exfoliation and rejuvenating hand and facial massages. The foot massage is optional and is the difference between the 60 minute and 90 minute massages.
Deep Pore Cleansing Facial (85 minutes)

*Client Favorite* This service is the same head-to-toe treatment you receive in “A New You” but with a specific focus on deep pore cleansing instead of a foot massage. Choose this Client Favorite and expose the young, fresh skin you have hidden away.
Full treatment takes 85 minutes and includes a professional cleansing, steam, extraction, exfoliation and rejuvenating hand and facial massages. Extra time is spent during extraction to deeply and completely cleanse your pores.
Rejuvenating Facials (60-90 min)
